Before that I lived in Providence and taught high school for one year but this is another story.
Before I lived in Providence I went to Welseyan University in Middletown CT.
Although I took some photo classes thereI did not study film. What I did study is a secret.
At any rate as I said I moved to New York in 1991.

1991

• I worked as apprentice/ assistant editor on "Healing and the Mind with Bill Moyers."
• I learned how to use an Aaton 16mm movie camera
• I was lonely because it was my first year in New York.

1992 - 1993

• I left my apprentice editor job.
• I learned about ARRI Cameras.
• I worked on music videos and commercials as a second camera assistant and loader.
• I moved to Williamsburg Brooklyn.

1994 - 1996

• I learned about Panavision Cameras.
• I started pulling focus on independent feature films and commercials.
• I was the Focus Puller on "Walking and Talking."  and "Niagara Niagara" both shot by Mike Spiller
• I started to shoot my own stuff.

1997 - 1998

• I have been getting as much experience as I can in the crazy world of film production.
• I have a reel which you can request if you want.
• I have a little gallery of some still photos here
